Freedom Marching Contest October 18th

The Spartan Regiment took the field alongside 24 other bands on Saturday (Oct 18th) at the Freedom Classic Tournament of Bands.

Directors Notes (July 28, 2008)

Marching Season Just around the corner!!!

I trust everyone is well rested and charged back up for an exciting new school year!  Marching Band and Fall Concert Band are starting very soon - stay tuned so you that you don't miss anything!

This week we have a drumline camp on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (7/30 - 8/1) for the Marching Spartans from 2-4 each afternoon.  We will be unveiling a brand new pregame show this year - and the drumline will be the heart and soul of this project.  In addition on Thursday and Friday, section leaders & captains need to report for student staff planning both mornings from 9-11am.

Also straight ahead our band camps will be underway.  Spartan Regiment members have 2 full weeks of camp - and Marching Spartan members have 3 afternoons of camp the week before school begins.  Everyone should have been mailed the dates and times for these and details can also be found on our home page.  In addition, our respective band fees were mailed out to students this year.  These may be settled at the August 3rd Parent meeting, or by the deadline printed on the form.

Parents, We have several projects in the works right now and we continue to need your support throughout the new year.  Please stay involved and in tune with our parent organization as we plan for the concert season ahead!
